Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs refunds and cancellations for purchases made on the SlyGen platform. By purchasing Coins or other services, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. Nature of Digital Goods

SlyGen operates on a virtual currency system ("Coins"). Coins are digital goods that:

  • Are delivered immediately upon successful payment
  • Provide access to AI image and video generation services
  • Have no monetary value outside the SlyGen platform
  • Cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash

Under EU Consumer Rights Directive and similar laws, the right to withdraw from a contract for digital content may be waived once delivery begins with your consent.

2. General Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products and services:

  • All Coin purchases are final and non-refundable once Coins have been credited to your account
  • Used Coins cannot be refunded under any circumstances
  • Partially used Coin packages are not eligible for partial refunds
  • Promotional or bonus Coins are never refundable

3. Eligible Refund Scenarios

We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical failure: Payment was processed but Coins were not credited to your account due to a verified technical error on our side
  • Duplicate charge: You were charged multiple times for the same transaction
  • Unauthorized transaction: Your payment method was used without your authorization (fraud)
  • Service unavailability: The service was completely unavailable for an extended period immediately after purchase, preventing any use of purchased Coins

All refund requests are subject to verification and investigation. We reserve the right to deny refunds if we suspect abuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms of Service.

4. Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Change of mind or no longer wanting the service
  • Dissatisfaction with generated content quality or results
  • Failure to read or understand the Terms of Service before purchase
  • Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
  • Coins that have been used, even partially
  • Technical issues on the user's end (internet connection, browser compatibility, device issues)
  • Inability to access the service due to regional restrictions or local laws
  • Price changes after purchase
  • Service modifications or feature changes

5. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, you must:

  1. Submit your request within 7 days of the original purchase date
  2. Contact our support team at the email address provided below
  3. Provide your account email, transaction ID, and date of purchase
  4. Describe the reason for your refund request in detail
  5. Provide any supporting evidence (screenshots, error messages, etc.)

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days to your original payment method.

6. Processing Fees

Please note that:

  • Payment processor fees are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount
  • Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider are not our responsibility
  • A processing fee may apply to approved refunds to cover administrative costs

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider:

  • Your SlyGen account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • All Coins and generated content may be forfeited
  • We reserve the right to contest the chargeback with supporting documentation
  • If the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or unjustified, your account may be permanently terminated
  • You may be liable for chargeback fees and administrative costs

We strongly recommend contacting our support team before initiating a chargeback to resolve any issues.

8. EU Consumer Rights

For users in the European Union:

  • You normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases
  • However, for digital content delivered immediately, this right may be waived
  • By making a purchase and consenting to immediate delivery, you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the Coins are credited to your account
  • This waiver is in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Policy.
